As reported Aceshowbiz, director supernatural horror film director MAMA (2013) chose to leave The Mummy remake project. It is caused due to creative differences on the project remake this film with the studio.
We need to know, before entering into Muschietti director, Len Wiseman has occupied the chair. Wiseman once wanted to bring THE MUMMY become darker and scary.
Wiseman eventually retreated, due to differences in vision with the Universal studio. Where they want this spectacle brought to the adventure that is more friendly to families.
Original movie entitled Mummy made in 1932 with Boris Karloff starring. Then followed with a remake of The Mummy (1999) and the sequel The Mummy Returns (2001), both directed by Stephen Sommers.
